Welcome to Geothermal University. It is important to have a systematic approach to leak checking air coils. This video discusses types of leaks and a process for leak checking. Thanks for watching!
While it does not happen often, sometimes coax fail. In today’s video we’re going to discuss testing a geothermal water / refrigerant coax for a leak. Every precaution should be taken to properly diagnose a suspected failed coax. In this video, we’ll provide testing procedures and recommendations to help you diagnose a leak. When we investigate a failed coax, there are three reasons for failure. The first – which is very rare – is a manufacturing defect. The second reason for failure...
Welcome to Geothermal University. One of the most critical installation procedure is flushing, purging, filtering the loop before startup. The top cause of pump failure is water quality, air and debris. This video will discuss the importance of water evaluation, filtering, removing debris and adding antifreeze. Thanks for watching!
